Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager to join a growing shopfitting and building services contractor delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the safe, profitable and efficient delivery of multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion and aftercare. Working closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional with strong commercial awareness, leadership capability and a proven background in managing fit-out or refurbishment projects.
Job Requirements
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within shopfitting, fit-out or construction
Strong understanding of construction methods, health & safety and project delivery
Commercial awareness with experience managing profitable projects
Knowledge of JCT contracts and construction processes
Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organisational, planning and leadership skills
Excellent communication and client-facing ability
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
SMSTS / CSCS desirable
Full UK driving licence preferred

Key Responsibilities
Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and aftercare
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
Oversee project programmes, quality and commercial performance
Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and company procedures
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
Attend site visits, project meetings and progress reviews
Support tender enquiries and pre-construction planning activities
Monitor labour, materials and resource allocation across projects
Work closely with commercial teams on variations, reporting and final accounts
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
