If you're someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As the Document Controller, you'll be responsible for managing all project documentation from start to finish, ensuring information is distributed correctly and records are maintained in line with company and client procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining project documents, drawings and correspondence.
  • Uploading, issuing and tracking documentation through the company's document management systems.
  • Ensuring all documents are correctly named, filed and stored in line with project requirements.
  • Controlling document revisions and maintaining accurate registers.
  • Liaising with project managers, engineers, designers and subcontractors to ensure documentation is issued and received on time.
  • Supporting the wider project team with administrative and document control tasks.
  • Producing reports and providing document status updates when required.
  • Ensuring compliance with client and quality management procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience using document management systems such as Viewpoint, Asite, Aconex, ProjectWise or similar.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience working on utilities or water industry projects would be advantageous but isn't essential
