Full time Construction Site Manager Management

Job Description

We are working with a leading main contractor with a turnover of 200m+ and a strong presence across the UK, delivering high-quality commercial, hospitality and residential projects.

They're looking to bring in a Quality Manager to work directly alongside the Head of Quality, supporting the business in driving standards across a number of live Central London projects.

This isn't a role where you'll just be ticking boxes or carrying out audits. You'll be out on site, working closely with project teams, offering guidance, improving processes and helping to make sure quality is built in from the start.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Quality, you'll become their right-hand person, splitting your time between the office and live sites across Central London.

You'll be supporting the quality function across the business, carrying out inspections, advising site teams, helping improve procedures and promoting a proactive approach to quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Quality with the day-to-day running of the quality function.
  • Visit multiple live projects across Central London, carrying out inspections and quality reviews.
  • Work closely with Site Managers and Project Teams to improve quality standards.
  • Provide practical guidance and support on quality-related issues.
  • Help develop and improve quality processes and procedures.
  • Ensure inspections and quality records are completed correctly.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Promote a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility.

About You

  • Experience in a Quality Manager, Quality Advisor, Clerk of Works or Site Management role within a main contractor environment.
  • Good understanding of construction quality processes and finishing standards.
  • Experience on commercial and/or residential projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to build relationships across all levels.
  • Organised, proactive and passionate about delivering quality projects.

What's on Offer

  • Work alongside an experienced Head of Quality with genuine opportunity to develop.
  • Join a well-established 200m+ turnover main contractor with an excellent reputation.
  • A varied role covering flagship commercial and residential projects across Central London.
  • A business that genuinely invests in quality, people and continuous improvement.
  • Competitive salary, package and long-term career progression.
