Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major tunnelling project. This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage both site operations and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on site.
- Lead by example as a hands-on working supervisor, supporting the team with installation work where required.
- Ensure all electrical works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
- Complete and maintain all required site paperwork, including permits, inspections, progress reports, and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Coordinate with site management and other trades to ensure work is completed to programme.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor on large infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Confined Space certification (current).
- Proven tunnel experience.
- National Grid Persons (NG Persons) authorisation/competency.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and safe systems of work.
- Ability to manage site documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Working Hours
- Hours: 07:30 - 18:00
- Shift Pattern: 12 days on, 2 days off
