Assistant Site Manager

Role Overview
Support the Site Manager in delivering the finishing phase of a new-build RC frame development, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, to the required quality standards, and ready for handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finishing trades and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress against programme and resolve delays.
• Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site standards.
• Coordinate materials, labour, and sequencing of works.
• Prepare plots for inspections, CML, NHBC, and customer handovers.
• Report progress and issues to the Site Manager.

Key Trades
Drylining, plastering, joinery, kitchens, bathrooms, tiling, decoration, flooring, mastic, final fix carpentry, and external finishing works.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience on new-build residential RC frame projects.
• Strong knowledge of finishing trades and quality control.
• SMSTS (preferred), CSCS Card, First Aid at Work.
• Good communication, organisation, and subcontractor management skills.
