Salary: 60,000 - 65,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Company Vehicle/Car Allowance + Pension + Annual Bonus

About the Company

We are a well-established and growing specialist HVAC contractor delivering commercial air conditioning, ventilation and mechanical services projects across London, Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HVAC Project Manager to join our expanding team.

The Role

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from contract handover through to completion. Working closely with the estimating, design and site teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

This role is ideal for an established Project Manager or an Assistant Project Manager ready to take the next step in their career.

The position is based from our office in Thatcham, with regular travel to project sites across London, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from handover to completion.
• Plan and coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers and materials.
• Produce and maintain project programmes.
• Attend client, design and site progress meetings.
• Monitor project progress and resolve site issues.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
• Manage project costs, variations and procurement.
• Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance across all projects.
• Coordinate commissioning, snagging and final handover.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Support and mentor site supervisors and engineers where required.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience managing commercial HVAC or Mechanical Building Services projects.
• Good technical knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation and mechanical installations.
• Experience delivering projects typically valued between 100k and 1.5m.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good commercial awareness and cost management experience.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications

SMSTS or SSSTS.

CSCS Manager or Supervisor Card.

First Aid at Work.

HNC/HND in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

IOSH Managing Safely (desirable).
