Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services) Location: Croydon Salary: 70,000 - 75,000 + Package The Role: Support Preconstruction, Contracts and Project Managers with electrical design from RIBA Stage 3 through to Stage 4 Develop Stage 4i designs through to Stage 4ii/iii Manage Contractor Design Portion (CDP) packages Produce electrical designs including LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarms, containment and ELV systems Coordinate CDP packages such as fire alarms, security systems, disabled refuge systems and structured cabling Support delivery across healthcare, laboratory and commercial office (Shell & Core / CAT A) projects Carry out electrical calculations (load assessments, cable sizing, voltage drop, fault levels, lighting design) Ensure compliance with BS 7671, Building Regulations, HTM guidance and project specifications Produce and review drawings using AutoCAD and Revit in line with BIM requirements Review subcontractor packages, supplier information and technical submittals Liaise with site teams to ensure designs are practical, buildable and aligned with programme requirements Attend design meetings, coordination reviews and site visits The Company: Established and well-respected M&E contractor Delivering projects across healthcare, commercial and laboratory sectors Based in Croydon with projects across London and the South-East Delivering both Design & Build and traditional contracts Salary & Benefits: 70,000 - 75,000 (dependent on experience) Company pension scheme Ongoing training and development Performance-related bonus 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays The Ideal Candidate: Degree, HND or HNC in Electrical or Building Services Engineering Experience within an M&E contractor or subcontractor design environment Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and UK building services standards Experience using AutoCAD, Revit and electrical design software (Amtech / Trimble, Dialux / Relux etc.) Good understanding of installation practices and on-site coordination Experience on commercial, healthcare, laboratory or similar projects (desirable) Familiarity with HTM standards and BIM Level 2 environments (desirable) Working towards IEng or CEng (desirable)

Job Title: Electrical Site Manager Location: East Finchley, North London Salary: 70K + Package The Role: Responsible for the day-to-day management of all electrical site activities on a high-end residential project near East Finchley. Oversee, coordinate, and successfully deliver electrical installation works in line with programme, quality, and safety requirements. Manage site labour, specialist subcontractors, materials, plant, and equipment to ensure works are delivered efficiently and on schedule. Ensure all electrical works are carried out to the highest standard, with full compliance to RAMS, site safety plans, and company quality procedures. Maintain daily site records, including labour allocation, progress, delays, accidents, near misses, and additional works. Manage site-based procurement, weekly material ordering, and coordination with the Site Stores Manager. Monitor material usage to minimise waste and ensure cost-effective installation practices. Attend site coordination meetings, M&E progress meetings, and daily huddles with the client, main contractor, and other trades. Produce regular progress reports, including photographic updates, whilst maintaining accurate records of site instructions and variations. Employs approximately 100 staff. Current annual turnover of circa 55m. The Ideal Candidate: Minimum 5+ years' experience working as an Electrical Site Manager or similar site management role. Proven experience delivering high-end residential electrical projects valued up to 5m. Strong understanding of electrical installations, testing, commissioning, and quality assurance. Holds a Black CSCS Managers Card with SMSTS (SSSTS considered; HNC/HND advantageous). Strong leadership skills with experience managing subcontractors, direct labour, and multiple work fronts. Electrical Estimator Overview We are recruiting for an Electrical Estimator to join a well-established M&E contractor. This is a key position within the business, working closely with the Commercial Manager and Estimating team to prepare competitive electrical tenders across a range of commercial, fit-out and building services projects. The business has an immediate requirement and is looking to appoint as soon as possible. There is also future succession planning within the team, with a Senior Electrical Estimator approaching retirement. Role Responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions. Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Produce accurate take-offs and cost plans. Obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations. Identify value engineering opportunities and commercial risks. Prepare tender adjudications and support bid submissions. Liaise with internal commercial, operational and project teams. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Support handovers to delivery teams upon successful award.
