Skilled labourer

Construction - Commercial build

An excellent opportunity to start a temporary position with a southwest based construction contractor. They are looking for skilled labourers to work on a large tier one commercial build at Channings Wood prison near Newton Abbot.
Duties will include labouring, lagging, using mastic and other environmental materials.
Clearances will be required to work in this environment, so you must be able to pass vetting. A DBS background check will be required.

Day to day:

• Labouring
• Lagging
• Assisting trades
• Moving materials and tidying site
• Working with environmental construction materials.
• Working with a variety of specialist and general tools.

Requirements:

• Must have significant previous site experienced.
• Must have an in date CSCS card.
• You will need to pass security vetting and complete a DBS check.
• A driving licence is essential to this role due to work location.
• Ability to perform basic level muti trade tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on own initiative.
• Good time keeping and attendance is very important.
