Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a well-established roofing and cladding contractor to deliver a major project in the Glasgow area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable specialist contractor on a long-term project delivering high-quality roofing and cladding installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of roofing and cladding works on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site operatives to ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
• Monitor programme, quality, and productivity throughout the project.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections.
• Liaise with the client, principal contractor, and project team.
• Manage site documentation including RAMS, permits, daily diaries, and progress reports.
• Ensure materials, plant, and labour are effectively coordinated.

Project Scope

The successful candidate will have experience delivering:

• Kalzip roofing systems
• Felt roofing
• Built-up cladding systems

Previous experience managing specialist roofing and cladding packages is essential.

Essential Requirements

• CSCS Gold or Black Card
• SMSTS
• First Aid at Work
• Proven experience managing roofing and cladding projects
• Strong knowledge of Kalzip roofing, felt roofing, and built-up cladding systems
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage programme, quality, and health & safety on site
