Your new company
Hays are looking for a welfare cleaner to start on a large, long-term contract with a tier 1 contractor within L11 area.
Applicants must be located within 2 mile radius to L11 post code for social value target for this role.

Hours: 8-12 hours per weekWorking Pattern: Monday and Thursday, 4-6 hours per shift

Your new role

• Cleaning and maintaining welfare facilities, including toilets, canteens, drying rooms, and communal areas.
• Ensuring all areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe for staff and visitors.
• Carrying out regular cleaning duties in line with site requirements and hygiene standards.
• Monitoring stock levels of cleaning products and consumables.
• Reporting shortages and assisting with ordering cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock is always available.
• Identifying and reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns.
• Following all site health and safety procedures at all times.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a construction, industrial, or commercial environment.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent cleaning schedule.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will get a long term contract covering 2 phases on a large new build housing project.
