Multiskilled Operative

Location: Covering Newark, Lincoln, Grantham

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Multi Skilled Finisher to support the delivery of domestic Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) installations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in general building and finishing works who takes pride in producing high-quality results.

Working alongside installation teams, you'll be responsible for completing all remedial and finishing tasks following heating system installations, ensuring every property is left in excellent condition.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Completing brickwork and making good around external heat pump installations.

• Carrying out plaster repairs and patching following installation work.

• Preparing and laying concrete slab bases where required.

• Building timber boxing to neatly conceal exposed pipework and services.

• Installing loft boarding to improve safe access to system components.

• Working collaboratively with heating engineers and other site operatives to keep projects running smoothly.

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, housekeeping and site safety.

• Identifying and reporting any issues that may impact the quality or progress of works.

• Ensuring all work is completed in line with current building regulations and health and safety requirements.

We're interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

• Experience in bricklaying, plastering and general building or finishing works.

• A practical, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.

• Previous experience working on domestic refurbishment, construction or renewable energy projects.

• Knowledge of Air Source Heat Pump or HVAC installations (desirable but not essential).

• The ability to interpret drawings and work from site instructions.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• A commitment to delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

• A full UK driving licence is desirable.
