Location: Temple Way, Bristol
Rate: 21.00 - 24.00 per hour (CIS)
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for an experienced paving gang of three, consisting of:

• 2 x Paving Operatives
• 1 x Ganger/Supervisor

The project involves laying 400x400mm concrete slabs on a sand bed across an initial area of approximately 200m , with the opportunity for further work based on productivity and performance.

Duties:

• Laying 400x400mm concrete paving slabs to a high standard
• Preparing the work area, including Type 1 reinstatement
• Working accurately to levels and site specifications
• Supervising and coordinating the team (Ganger/Supervisor)
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety

Requirements:

• Previous experience laying concrete paving slabs
• Ability to prepare and reinstate Type 1 sub-base
• Experience working to levels
• CSCS card required
• SSSTS/SMSTS preferred for the Ganger/Supervisor
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work efficiently as part of a team

Productivity will be monitored, with a target of up to 50m per day (excluding cuts). There is potential for ongoing work for the right team.
