Quantity Surveyor
We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Oxford. The business is privately owned, and operates out of several regional offices across the country with a group turnover in excess of 120mil. They undertake projects across the public and private sectors including education and further education, healthcare, commercial and social housing valuing up to 15mil. Projects are typically administered via JCT forms of contract.
About the role of Quantity Surveyor:
As Quantity Surveyor, you will take the lead on projects valuing typically up to 5mil. You will be reporting into the senior leadership team.
Key responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:
- Be involved in 2-stage tenders
- Sub-contract procurement
- Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
- Deal with final accounts
Key requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Construction related HNC / Degree
- Experience working within a main contractor
- Experience administering JCT forms of contract
- Must live within a commutable distance to Oxford and have the full right to work in the UK
