Site Supervisor - Retail Park Project
Worcester
22-Week Contract Start Mid-July
I'm currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor to join a well-established contractor delivering a retail park project in Worcester.
This is a 22-week contract starting in mid-July, working on behalf of a nationally recognised retail brand.
The project includes a mix of demolition, cladding, groundworks and external works, and you'll play a key role in supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and to programme.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of the project
- Supervising trades, subcontractors and site labour
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety across site
- Managing barriers, exclusion zones and general site safety
- Coordinating daily activities and monitoring progress
- Liaising with subcontractors and the client team
- Reporting progress, issues and updates to the Site Manager
- Helping to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required standard
Requirements:
- SSSTS (essential)
- CSCS Card
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within construction
- Strong understanding of site health & safety
- Good communication and organisational skills
We're happy to consider candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including civils, groundworks, fit-out, demolition or other construction trades. This role would particularly suit someone looking to step off the tools and move into site management, with the right attitude and a proactive approach.
