My client is looking for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join their growing team and lead the delivery of high-quality surveying services across commercial, residential, and public-sector portfolios. This is a key role with responsibility for managing complex projects, developing client relationships, and supporting the progression of junior surveyors.
Your new role

Lead and deliver refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance projects throughout all RIBA stagesUndertake core professional services, including dilapidations, technical due diligence, PPM and asset managementManage multiple projects up to £1m, ensuring quality, compliance, and commercial performanceProvide expert technical advice to clients, stakeholders, and project teamsOversee fund monitoring commissions and reportingMentor and support APC candidates and junior team membersContribute to business development and client retentionSupport the delivery of decarbonisation and Net Zero-aligned strategiesWhat you'll need to succeed
MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor (or equivalent senior-level experience)Strong technical knowledge of building pathology, construction, and contract administrationProven experience delivering projects and professional services in a client-facing environmentConfident managing multidisciplinary teams and external consultantsExcellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder-management skillsInterest or experience in sustainability, decarbonisation, or Net Zero projects is highly desirable.Motivated, commercially aware, and able to work autonomouslyWhat you'll get in return
