This role sits within a specialist offsite construction business delivering panelised building solutions across the UK. The position exists to support the commercial team as part of continued growth, offering structured development into a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor. It would suit a recent graduate in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline seeking practical experience in a modern construction environment, with exposure to the full project lifecycle and mentorship from experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with procurement, negotiation, and administration of subcontract packages
- Support the preparation and submission of client payment applications in line with contract terms
- Contribute to project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities
- Help identify and manage commercial and contractual risks
- Monitor project progress against programme to support delivery teams
- Assist in managing insurances, bonds, and financial compliance requirements
- Support preparation and agreement of valuations and final accounts
- Contribute to maintaining strong client relationships and service delivery
Experience Required:- Recently completed a degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Good communication and collaborative working ability
- Basic understanding of construction or commercial processes
- Professional and organised approach to work
Desirable:- Previous experience within construction or subcontracting environments
- Exposure to the education sector or similar project types
- Valid UK driving licence or working towards obtaining one
