Discipline: Quantity Surveyor
Location: North London
Start date: Immediate
Duration: 6+ months
Shifts: 11 day fortnight
Week 1: Mon to Fri 7-7 (9 hrs basic, 2.5 hrs OTA Mon to Thurs, 7 hrs basic + 4.5 hrs OTA Fri), Weekend 7-4.30 (Sat 4 hrs OTA + 5 hrs OTB, and 9 hrs OTB for Sun).
Week 2: Mon to Wed 7-7 and Thurs 7-2:30 (6 hrs basic and 1 hr OTA)
PAYE Pay Rates:
Basic Rate: £27.00/hr + £3.25/hr Holiday Pay = £30.25/hr
OTA: £37.80/hr
OTB: £48.60/hr
Lodge Allowance: £55.00/day worked
Travel Allowance: £20.00/hr travelled
The Role:
Integrate Engineering Resources is currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for a major Energy from Waste power station construction project in north London. Duties will include:
-Preparing and managing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
-Conducting valuations and agreeing on variations.
-Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying potential risks and cost implications.
-Liaising with contractors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure efficient delivery.
-Ensuring compliance with contractual and legal obligations.
-Preparing final accounts and supporting project close-out.
Requirements:
-CCNSG card
-Degree or equivalent technical qualification
-Prior background in the Energy from Waste Power station construction sector
-Knowledge of power station project management and estimating
-Excellent communication, teamwork, negotiation, problem solving and organisation skills
-Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
-Hold a full UK driving licence.
