Start Time: 08:00- End Time: 16:00
Pay Rate: £16.20 per hour

Role Overview

• Carry out joinery work as part of kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programmes
• Work within occupied local authority domestic properties
• Deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

Key Responsibilities

• Fit kitchen units, worktops, and associated joinery components
• Carry out general joinery works as required within refurbishment projects
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with specification
• Work safely within occupied properties, maintaining respect for residents and their homes
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site regulations
• Support the smooth delivery of refurbishment programmes within set timescales
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in a safe and efficient manner
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and residents when required

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Proven experience as a qualified Joiner or in a similar trade role
• Experience working on kitchen and bathroom installations or refurbishments (desirable)
• Ability to work in occupied domestic properties with a professional approach
• Strong practical skills in fitting units, worktops, and general joinery tasks
• Good understanding of health and safety in construction/domestic environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management and ability to meet project deadlines
• Good communication skills and customer awareness
