GroundworkerLocation: EH16 6TX
Hours - Mon to Fri 36 hours per week
Pay - £14.51 per hour
Duration - Temporary Ongoing
The Groundworker will:- Measure and mark out grave spaces
- Prepare graves with use of an excavator
- Keep pathways clear
- Remove litter
- Maintain the grounds of the cemetery (grass, verges & plants)
- Check headstones for damage and ensure they are safe
- Ensure all paper work is up to date
The Groundworker must:- Have a full UK drivers licence with no more than 6 points
- Have excellent verbal communication skills
- Have a compassionate manner
- Be health and safety conscious
- Be able to carry out tasks on a computer or handheld device
- Be willing to work in all types of weather
