Assistant Site Manager - Inverness
We are currently recruiting an Assistant Site Manager on behalf of a leading national construction contractor, working across a range of exciting projects in the Inverness and wider Highland region. The Role
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support the successful delivery of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in the coordination of labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors to achieve programme targets
Supporting procurement activity to ensure materials and services are ordered in line with project requirements
Working closely with Site Managers to monitor progress and help drive performance against key milestones
Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures at all times
Promoting high standards of site presentation, including Considerate Constructors Scheme requirements
Supporting positive leadership and team engagement across site operations
Contributing to behavioural safety initiatives and promoting a strong safety-first culture

About You
The successful candidate will bring:
Previous experience within the construction industry in a site-based role
A strong understanding of health and safety practices and site compliance
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to work effectively as part of a site team and support multiple stakeholders
A proactive approach with a strong focus on quality, safety, and delivery
