You will act as the primary point of contact on site for clients, consultants, and subcontractors, while working closely with the commercial and design teams to monitor financial performance, mitigate risks, and maintain high-quality standards. You will oversee the entire site lifecycle, from planning and mobilisation through to handover, providing leadership and guidance to site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring that programmes, resources, and budgets are effectively managed. Key Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of site management for commercial and residential projects, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and quality standards Manage and mentor site teams, including site engineers, supervisors, and trades personnel Act as the main client interface, maintaining strong relationships and providing regular progress updates Oversee subcontractor selection, procurement, and on-site management, ensuring compliance with contracts and company policies Collaborate with commercial teams on cost reporting, forecasts, valuations, and change management Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety, quality, and environmental standards Prepare and present site reports for senior management and clients Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and materials Drive continuous improvement in site operations and construction delivery processes Requirements: Proven track record as a Site Manager delivering both commercial and residential projects Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and site management processes Experience managing multi-million-pound budgets and subcontractor packages Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Proactive, solution-focused, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines Ability to build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships Familiarity with health & safety regulations and best practices on site Professional qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying (preferred but not essential) What We Offer: Opportunity to manage high-profile projects across commercial and residential sectors Supportive, collaborative, and ambitious work environment Competitive salary with performance-related incentives Opportunities for professional development and career progression Exposure to a wide range of construction disciplines and innovative building techniques
