You'll be working on well-managed residential developments alongside experienced Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors and operational teams who understand the importance of delivering projects safely, on programme and to a high standard. About the Role You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of groundworks and civil engineering projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule and to specification. Key responsibilities include: Managing site operations from commencement through to completion Supervising groundworks activities including foundations, drainage, roads, sewers, kerbing and external works Leading site teams, subcontractors and plant operations Ensuring health, safety, environmental and quality standards are maintained at all times Coordinating labour, plant and material requirements to keep projects running efficiently Monitoring progress against programme and reporting to senior management Carrying out site inspections, toolbox talks and safety briefings Liaising with clients, engineers, utility providers and local authorities To be successful, you should have: Previous experience as a Site Manager within groundworks or civil engineering Strong knowledge of residential infrastructure and housing development projects Experience managing drainage, foundations, roads, sewers and external works SMSTS or SSSTS CSCS Managers Card First Aid at Work Full UK Driving Licence Temporary Works Coordinator, NRSWA Supervisor, CPCS or NPORS qualifications and IOSH or NEBOSH certification would be advantageous but are not essential.
