Job Description
VGC Group are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Operative with Telehandler experience to join a project based in Saxmundham, Suffolk.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hard-working Operative looking for work, and to gain experience with a Tier 1 client.
We are looking for someone who can work well as part of a team, and support site operations to keep the project running safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will support a variety of groundworks and site duties and will ideally hold a couple of plant tickets to assist with machinery where required.
Pay Rate: £20.47 per hour PAYE
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-5pm
Start Date: ASAP
Lodge and Travel is not available for this role
As the Multi Skilled Operative / Telehandler, your responsibilities may include:
Assisting trades and site management with labouring duties
Keeping the site clean, tidy, and safe at all times
Use of company vehicle to drive between sites
Transporting materials and equipment around site
Supporting with general site set-up and maintenance
Following all site health and safety procedures
Handling incoming deliveries
Carrying out any other general site duties as required
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A valid CSCS Card
Previous experience in this role or similar
A good work ethic and positive attitude
The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Good punctuality and reliability
Right to work in the UK
Full, Clean UK Driving License
