Key Responsibilities Supervise multiple contractors on-site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) Coordinate and manage Permit to Work systems with plant supervisors and H&S teams Develop and support construction schedules (weekly, monthly, annual) Provide regular progress reporting to project and engineering management Maintain exceptional standards of health, safety, and housekeeping Prepare CDM documentation, including: Pre-Construction Information Construction Phase Plans H&S Files Support notifiable CDM projects, including F10 submissions Conduct CDM compliance audits across projects Identify, manage, and resolve construction risks, issues, and delays Carry out punch list inspections and support final construction sign-off Participate in: Constructability reviews Risk assessments Schedule and safety reviews Support planned shutdowns and turnaround activities Experience & Knowledge Proven experience delivering construction works on Upper Tier COMAH or high-hazard industrial sites Strong working knowledge of CDM regulations and compliance requirements Experience within sectors such as: Chemical Oil & Gas Energy Familiarity with industrial equipment and construction, including: Pipework Structural steel Foundations and piling Heat exchangers Tanks and vessels Experience managing Permit to Work systems Proficient with: Microsoft Office Microsoft Project / Primavera P6 Qualifications HND (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering IOSH (or equivalent safety qualification) CDM training certification NEBOSH Construction Certificate (desirable) Apply Now If you are an experienced Construction Manager with a background in COMAH or high-hazard industrial environments, we want to hear from you.

About the role Background and details: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Labourer to support the day-to-day operations of our busy Redditch yard. Reporting to the Site Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised site. The primary focus of the role is to carry out wash bay duties, ensuring plant machinery and company vehicles are cleaned and prepared to a high standard. You will also assist with general yard maintenance, housekeeping tasks, and the movement of machinery across the site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Duties and responsibilities: Wash Bay Operations: Clean and prepare plant machinery, company cars, vans, and other company assets to required standards. Operate jet washers, brushes, and cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe wash bay area at all times Yard Maintenance & Upkeep: Carry out general yard duties including jet washing, weeding, sweeping, and tidying. Ensure walkways, workspaces, and outdoor areas remain safe, presentable, and hazard-free. Support the overall upkeep and presentation of the site Machine Movement Support: Assist with the safe movement, positioning, and organisation of plant machinery around the yard. Follow company procedures and work under supervision when handling equipment. General Labour Duties: Provide manual labour support across the site when required. Assist with basic site maintenance and ad-hoc operational tasks. Work flexibly and respond to tasks delegated by the Site Operations Supervisor or Branch Manager. Health and Safety: Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures. Use PPE and equipment correctly at all times. Report hazards, damages, or safety concerns promptly. Skills & Experience: We re looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, and willing to get stuck in. Essential: Experience in manual labour, yard work, or a similar site-based role. Ability to carry out physical work and operate outdoors in all weather conditions. Basic awareness of health and safety practices. Ability to follow instructions and work to a high standard. Strong reliability and a positive team attitude. Desirable: Full UK driving licence. FLT (Forklift Truck) licence. Experience within plant, construction, or industrial environments.
