This is a 6-month freelance role focused primarily on external works, including drainage infrastructure, kerbing, and associated groundworks packages. Working closely with the Site Manager and project team, you will help coordinate subcontractors, ensure works are delivered safely and to programme, and maintain quality standards across the external works phase of the project. Key Responsibilities Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the construction site. Supervise and coordinate groundworks and external works subcontractors. Oversee installation of drainage systems, kerbing, and associated infrastructure. Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations and site procedures. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings where required. Monitor programme progress, identifying and reporting potential delays. Maintain quality control and inspection records for external works packages. Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
