Quantity Surveyor - Recladding / Remediation works
The Company
My client operate as a Principle Contractor, across recladding works.
Working across cladding, roofing, glazing and insulation.
Project include: High rise residential towers, commercial office buildings, Public sector developments (education, healthcare, government buildings, high-performance fa ades for energy-efficient buildings
HQ based in SE London.
The Role - Quantity Surveyor
My client are looking to appoint an ambitious Quantity Surveyor, to join the team on a hybrid working basis (x2 from home)
Working closely with the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for:
- Commercial aspects of cladding and fa ade projects, including cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts.
- Applying technical knowledge of cladding systems and regulatory requirements.
- Adapting commercial strategies to maintain programme and protect margins.
- Negotiate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Monitor and manage project risks, implementing measures to control costs and mitigate potential issues.
