Rate: 24.00 PAYE / 31.49 Umbrella (Inside IR35)

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to support a busy repairs and maintenance service, delivering high-quality electrical work across domestic properties. You will ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and repair work
• Diagnose faults and determine appropriate remedial action
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical and building regulations
• Complete repairs within required timescales and quality standards
• Communicate professionally with tenants and arrange follow-up visits where required
• Record all work accurately using PDA/mobile systems
• Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota
• Maintain safe working practices and comply with health & safety legislation
• Use and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles responsibly
• Support multi-trade working when required
• Ensure work areas are left clean and safe after completion

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
• City & Guilds 18th Edition
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
• PAT Testing qualification (2377)
• Health & Safety qualification
• Strong understanding of electrical regulations and safe systems of work
