We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a market-leading Tier 1 M&E contractor. This role is based on a high-profile, large-scale data centre project in Central London.
The position begins as a 7-month contract, with a clear and intended transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term stability with one of the industry's most respected firms during a period of significant growth.
The Role
As the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day electrical installation and ensuring the project is delivered to the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing on-site electrical sub-contractors and direct labor to ensure productivity and quality.
Ensuring all works are carried out in strict accordance with RAMS and H&S legislation.
Monitoring progress against the program and resolving any technical queries on-site.
Conducting regular site walk-rounds and managing snags to ensure a "right first time" delivery.
Providing regular updates to the Project Manager and attending site meetings.
Requirements
Proven track record as an Electrical Supervisor on large-scale commercial or industrial projects (Data Centre experience is highly advantageous).
Valid JIB Gold Card and SSSTS or SMSTS.
Strong understanding of complex electrical systems and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
A professional approach to managing site teams and the ability to drive a project forward.
