Mechanical Fitter Fulltime

Very good understanding of Mechanical Fitting duties in relation to construction site plant including 36o's ADT's, Telehandlers ad other large plant.

A chance to work on the largest Infrastructure project in the UK, spanning over the next 5-7 years (HS2)

PAYE basis

Pay rate: £20.88 per hour for the first 39 hours and £31.32 for the remaining 11 hours

Paid Holidays: 31 days per year (including 8 bank holidays)

Must Have:

• CSCS - Blue Skilled, Gold Skilled/Advanced Craft

• Fabrication and assembly of machinery and equipment using metal parts
• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to guide construction and repairs
• Inspecting machinery for defects or wear and performing routine maintenance
• Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and replacing or repairing faulty components
• Maintaining safety standards and using personal protective equipment in noisy, hot, or dusty environments
• Keeping records of maintenance, operations, and safety procedures

Overtime:
Saturday- time and a half for the first 4 hours, then double time

Sunday- Double time
