This is an outstanding opportunity for a Project Manager or Contracts Manager from an architectural glazing, fa ades, curtain walling, windows, doors, or wider building envelope background to join a long-established specialist subcontractor with major Tier 1 clients, repeat work, and genuine progression towards director level.

This specialist subcontractor delivers architectural glazing and building envelope packages across the Northwest, North Wales, and Midlands. With over 30 years of trading, long standing team, and a strong base of repeat clients, the business has built a reputation for reliable delivery across education, healthcare, commercial offices, and wider commercial projects.
In this role, you will manage architectural glazing projects from handover through to completion, acting as the key link between site teams, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and the internal team. The company delivers around 12 major projects per year, each with its own specifications, site challenges, variations, and client requirements, giving you a consistent but varied workload.
The ideal candidate will be a Projects Manager, Contracts Manager, Site Manager, or similar from an architectural glazing, fa ades, curtain walling, windows, doors, building envelope, or specialist subcontracting background. You will be commercially aware, confident managing variations and project costs, and comfortable taking responsibility for project delivery.

The Role:

• Managing architectural glazing projects from handover through to completion
• Coordinating site activity, labour, procurement, design, and programme delivery
• Liaising with Tier 1 contractors, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Managing variations, commercial reporting, cost control, and project delivery
• Working across office and site across the Northwest, North Wales, and Midlands

The Person:

• Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Site Manager, or similar construction background
• Experience within architectural glazing, fa ades, curtain walling, windows, doors, building envelope, or specialist subcontracting
• Strong problem-solving skills, commercial awareness, and confidence managing variations
• Professional, organised, personable, and confident liaising with clients and site teams
• Based within commutable distance of Chester / Northwest region
