Project / Senior Planner

Warrington - 65,000 - 85,000 + comprehensive package (car allowance, bonus, pension, and additional benefits)

The Role
Due to continued growth and a strong order book, an opportunity has arisen for a Project / Senior Planner to join a dynamic team based in Warrington. You will play a key role in the successful planning and delivery of construction projects, working closely with operational teams to ensure programmes are robust, realistic, and aligned with project objectives.

As Project / Senior Planner, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, managing, and maintaining detailed project programmes using Astra Powerproject

  • Working closely with project teams to ensure accurate planning from pre-construction through to delivery

  • Identifying risks, opportunities, and critical path activities

  • Monitoring progress and producing regular reports for internal and external stakeholders

  • Supporting tender and bid submissions with programme input

  • Ensuring programmes align with NEC contract requirements where applicable

  • Collaborating with site teams, commercial teams, and clients to drive project performance

The Ideal Candidate
The successful Project / Senior Planner will have:

  • Proven experience in a Planning role within the construction industry

  • Strong working knowledge of Astra Powerproject

  • Experience working under NEC forms of contract

  • A solid understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider project team

  • A proactive and solution-focused approach
