Job Title: General Labourer / Streetworks Operative (Long-Term Contract) Location: Stapleford, Lincoln (LN6) Salary: £16.75 per hour (CIS) Job Type: Full-time, Contract (1 3 Years) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 06 30 (9 hours paid daily)

Clements Young are currently recruiting for a General Labourer / Streetworks Operative to join a premier, family-run civils firm in Lincoln.

If you are tired of short-term agency hops and unpredictable Friday layoffs, this isn't a short-term gap fill. This is a genuine 1 to 3-year contract working on a major, long-term highway maintenance and pothole reinstatement run.

THE YARD-TO-YARD ADVANTAGE Unlike most civils roles where you only get paid when you are on site, this client pays you from the moment you hit the yard.

• Paid Travel: Your 9-hour shift is paid Yard-to-Yard.

• Start: 06:30 at the yard in Stapleford.

• Finish: 16:30 back at the yard.

THE ROLE This is a high-energy, active role. You aren't just sweeping up; you are a key part of a 3-man reinstatement gang using hot box methods and temporary tar. Everyone mucks in to get the job done safely and efficiently.

• Groundworks: Assisting with digging, saw-cutting, raking, and hot-lay macadam (tarmac).

• Site Support: Keeping the work area safe, clear, and supplied.

• Teamwork: Working closely with the 7.5t driver and gang leader to ensure high-quality reinstatement and a safe site.

REQUIREMENTS

• CSCS Card: A valid CSCS card is strictly essential.

• Attitude: You must be physically fit, reliable, and actually want to graft. We want lads who want a steady, long-term home.

• The Golden Ticket: A valid NRSWA / Streetworks ticket is highly desired. If you hold a valid Streetworks ticket, you will be put straight forward for an interview.
