You'll be involved in interpreting technical drawings, understanding rail access requirements, managing interfaces across multiple disciplines, and ensuring project programmes are developed and maintained to the highest standards.

As a Planning Engineer, you will support the planning and delivery of high-profile projects, working closely with experienced professionals across a range of disciplines to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project programmes using Primavera P6
- Review and interpret technical drawings to produce accurate and achievable schedules
- Understand and coordinate rail access requirements and associated project constraints
- Manage and coordinate interfaces across multiple disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery
- Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and support mitigation strategies
- Assist with reporting, programme updates, and project controls processes
- Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to support efficient delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice planning methodologies
Candidate
- Min 2-5 years' planning experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, or rail
- Proficiency in Primavera P6
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical information confidently
- Understanding of rail access and multidisciplinary project interfaces
- Some site-based experience is highly desirable
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
