Job Description
My client are a well-established and highly respected main building contractor with a strong presence across the North West. Due to continued growth and a healthy project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their delivery team on a range of high-quality construction schemes.
The Role
This is a key position on-site, supporting the successful delivery of projects across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, and residential up to 60m. You'll work closely with the site management team to ensure all engineering aspects are delivered accurately, safely, and in line with programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project drawings
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring quality control and compliance with industry standards
- Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams
- Supporting site management with daily engineering duties
- Identifying and resolving technical issues
- Promoting and maintaining high health & safety standards
About You
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or similar
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer within the construction sector
- Proficient with setting out equipment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Full UK driving licence
