Senior Site Manager

We are recruiting for a highly experienced Senior Site Manager with a strong internal fit-out background to join a Tier 1 contractor on a landmark flagship development in Cardiff. This is a major, high-profile scheme where the quality and coordination of internal works will be critical to overall project success.

The Role
As Senior Site Manager, you will take ownership of the internal fit-out package, managing all finishing trades and ensuring delivery to exceptional standards. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will drive programme, quality, and safety across a fast-paced and detail-driven phase of the build.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all internal fit-out activities across the project
• Coordinate multiple subcontractors including drylining, MEP interfaces, joinery, flooring, and finishes
• Ensure high-quality delivery in line with design specifications and client expectations
• Drive programme and sequencing of internal works to meet key milestones
• Maintain strict health & safety standards across all internal operations
• Conduct inspections, snagging, and handover processes
• Liaise with design teams, commercial teams, and client representatives

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager with a strong focus on internal fit-out / finishing packages
• Background working on major projects (e.g. high-rise residential, commercial, mixed-use developments)
• Experience with a Tier 1 contractor or large-scale main contractor environment
• Strong understanding of sequencing, coordination, and quality control of internal trades
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-end finishes
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certifications
