Construction Manager Responsibilities Manage the day to day delivery of a major micro tunnelling scheme, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements. Oversee tunnelling operations, including Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) and Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) activities, ensuring works are delivered to the highest standards of quality and safety. Lead and coordinate Site Agents, Site Engineers, Foremen, operatives, and subcontractors, promoting a collaborative and high-performing site environment. Good understanding of temporary works, reinforced concrete, deep excavations, and underground construction techniques. Strong planning, leadership, and organisational skills with the ability to deliver projects safely and efficiently. Good knowledge of NEC contracts and project delivery processes is advantageous.
