Pipefitter (Site Projects)

Location: Dudley Position: Freelance / Contract (2 positions available) Duration: 12 months (subject to initial performance review)

The Role

We are seeking experienced, reliable Pipefitters to join a long-term project in Dudley. This is not a standard agency role. We require dedicated professionals who can work independently, maintain a high work rate, and take genuine pride in the quality of their installations.

Primary Responsibilities

• LST Radiator Installation: Full installation of Low Surface Temperature (LST) radiator units and associated covers.
• Pipework: Working with steel tube up to 32mm.
• System Completion: Carrying out full fill and pressure testing to ensure system integrity.
• Site Standards: Maintaining a productive pace while adhering strictly to site safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Technical Skill: Proven experience in commercial or industrial pipefitting, specifically with steel threading and LST systems.
• Work Ethic: A proactive approach to site work. We need individuals who are self-motivated and focused on delivering high-quality results.
• Tools and PPE: Must possess a full kit of standard pipefitting tools and all necessary PPE.
• Compliance: A valid CSCS card (Blue or Gold preferred) and a relevant NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Pipefitting.

Project Outlook

This is a 12 month contract for fitters who demonstrate consistent reliability and high standards of workmanship.
