Solar PV Electrician (No roof work required) x2 Positions Location: Stourbridge / Kidderminster / Worcester Position Type: Ongoing Contract Workload: 5 jobs per week (1 job per day average) Start Date: Immediate / Flexible We are recruiting two qualified Electricians for an ongoing solar installation contract. This role focuses strictly on the AC side, inverter, battery storage, and grid connection . There is NO roof work required. Roof mounting, array installation, and DC roof cabling are handled entirely by dedicated roofing teams. Install, wire, and commission solar inverters, battery storage systems, and AC isolators. Perform consumer unit upgrades or alterations where necessary. Run AC cabling from the inverter location to the main distribution board. Carry out full Inspection, Testing, and Commissioning (EIC) on completed installations. Complete and submit electronic handover paperwork and test certificates daily. Key Requirements & Qualifications NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent). 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671). Solar PV / Renewable Qualification (City & Guilgs 2399-11, EAL Solar PV, or MCS-recognized equivalent).

Based from our Potters Bar office, you will run jobs across London (inside the M25) and the Northern Home Counties. This is a complete project management role for someone used to pricing, running, and delivering multiple short-duration works simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Carry out site surveys to inspect work, confirm requirements, and define scopes for small works, repairs, and minor refurbishments. Price jobs accurately, calculate labour, plant, and material costs, and submit clear quotations to clients. Manage awarded projects from start to finish, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Coordinate trade teams and subcontractors across various regional sites. Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the duration of each project. Requirements Proven experience in contracts management within construction or property services. Practical track record of pricing and delivering small works or minor works projects. Strong communication skills for managing client requests and site teams. Full UK driving licence. Electrical Improver Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Duration: 5 Weeks Start Date: Monday 17th August Pay Rate: £21.00 - £22.00/ph Hours: hours per week, Mon Fri We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Improvers for a 5-week commercial contract based in Leeds. You will be working alongside qualified Electricians, carrying out 1st and 2nd fix installation work on site. Key Responsibilities Installation of cable management systems including tray, trunking, conduit, and basket. Cable pulling (singles, SWA, and twin & earth). Assisting with 1st & 2nd fix electrical power and lighting circuits. Supporting the site team with general installation duties and keeping work areas safe and clean. Requirements Valid ECS / JIB Card (Essential). NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent site experience). Previous experience as an Electrical Improver on commercial or industrial sites. Full UK PPE (Hard hat, safety boots, hi-vis, gloves, eye protection). Own standard hand tools and cordless drills. Ability to provide 2 x recent work references .

You will be working directly alongside a qualified Electrical Testing Engineer to assist with large-scale inspection, testing, and subsequent installation works across the site's car park structures. This is an excellent, stable contract offering consistent hours and plenty of overtime opportunities leading all the way up to the festive break. Key Responsibilities Assisting the lead electrician with full EICR testing and inspection on 10 distribution boards across the site. Helping conduct a comprehensive emergency lighting survey. Supporting follow-up remedial works, including distribution board upgrades. Assisting with the installation of new commercial lighting systems across the car park areas. Managing tools, equipment, and materials to ensure an efficient and safe working environment.
