LOADING SHOVEL DRIVER - WASTE MANAGEMENT

Shift: Days & Nights on a rotating Conential shift pattern DAYS 6am - 6pm, NIGHTS 6pm to 6am - 12 hour shifts, 2 days off inbetween shift change.

Location: Tilbury, Essex

Paying: From 16.11per hour

This role is a Temporary role STARTING ASAP PERM after completed 13 weeks.

HRGO Recruitment are recruiting for a SHIFT Loading Shovel Driver to work in a busy Waste Plant within Tilbury, Essex.

YOU MUST HOLD NPORS / CPCS LOADING SHOVEL TICKET FOR THIS ROLE

LOADING SHOVEL OPERATOR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED EITHER IN WASTE OR AGGREGATES SECTOR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Controlling the Wheeled loading shovel to scoop up materials from stockpiles or hoppers from recycling plant areas.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the loading shovel to ensure optimal performance.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Site Navigation: Maneuver the loading shovel safely around the site, avoiding obstacles and ensuring the accurate handling of materials.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of materials moved and equipment maintenance

This role is working on a shift basis, 12 hour shifts working both Days and Nights in the same working week with 2 days off in between shift cahnge from day to night.

FULL PPE IS REQUIRED - STEEL TOE CAP BOOTS, HIGH VIS, HARD HAT, GLOVES

VALID in date NPORS/CPCS Loading Shovel Licence is essential for this role.
