About the Role
Our client, a well-established and growing repairs contractor based in Portsmouth, is seeking an organised and proactive Repairs Scheduler to join their busy team. This is a key position responsible for coordinating maintenance and repair appointments, ensuring efficient service delivery, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and allocating repair and maintenance work to engineers and operatives

  • Managing diaries to ensure optimal efficiency and timely completion of jobs

  • Acting as the main point of contact for tenants, clients, and engineers

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls, emails, and system updates

  • Prioritising emergency and urgent repairs

  • Monitoring job progress and resolving scheduling conflicts

  • Ensuring all data is accurately recorded on internal systems

About You

  • Previous experience in a scheduling, planning, or coordination role (ideally within repairs, maintenance, or housing)

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Confident using IT systems and scheduling software

  • Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities
