Key Responsibilities
As a Designer, you'll be instrumental in leading the Design co ordination with architects and engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Produce detailed working drawings for roofing & cladding systems
• Create fabrication drawings for manufacture and installation
• Review architectural and structural drawings/specifications
• Identify and raise design queries / clashes
• Attend and contribute to design meetings (site & remote)
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors
• Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers
• Support site teams with technical/design queries
• Carry out site surveys and measurements
• Prepare material schedules and support procurement
• Ensure designs meet project specifications and regulations
• Assist with design development and value engineering

Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of roofing & cladding systems (rainscreen, standing seam, composite panels, single-ply, hot melt)
• Experience with SFS (Structural Framing Systems)
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit beneficial)
• Ability to produce working and fabrication drawings
• Solid understanding of building envelope design principles
• Good knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Problem-solving skills with ability to identify and resolve design issues
• 5 Years experience in a roofing and cladding design role
