. We are seeking a dedicated Designer to be a key player for our clients team, based in Warrington
Key Responsibilities
As a Designer, you'll be instrumental in leading the Design co ordination with architects and engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Produce detailed working drawings for roofing & cladding systems
- Create fabrication drawings for manufacture and installation
- Review architectural and structural drawings/specifications
- Identify and raise design queries / clashes
- Attend and contribute to design meetings (site & remote)
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors
- Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers
- Support site teams with technical/design queries
- Carry out site surveys and measurements
- Prepare material schedules and support procurement
- Ensure designs meet project specifications and regulations
- Assist with design development and value engineering
Skills and Experience- Strong knowledge of roofing & cladding systems (rainscreen, standing seam, composite panels, single-ply, hot melt)
- Experience with SFS (Structural Framing Systems)
- Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit beneficial)
- Ability to produce working and fabrication drawings
- Solid understanding of building envelope design principles
- Good knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Problem-solving skills with ability to identify and resolve design issues
- 5 Years experience in a roofing and cladding design role
