The Role You'll be responsible for: Coordinating engineers and managing schedules across multiple contracts Planning reactive and planned maintenance works Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and engineers Raising purchase orders and managing job documentation Updating systems, spreadsheets and client portals Monitoring KPIs and service levels Chasing paperwork and ensuring compliance records are maintained Handling incoming calls and emails professionally Supporting the wider operations team with day-to-day contract administration What We're Looking For We're looking for people who: Love being organised and take pride in getting the details right Can confidently manage multiple tasks and deadlines at once Stay calm when things get busy Are comfortable speaking with engineers, suppliers and clients Have strong IT skills and can confidently work across multiple systems Aren't afraid to pick up the phone and get things sorted Have a positive attitude and are willing to roll their sleeves up when needed Want to build a long-term career, not just find their next job Experience within facilities management, maintenance, construction, scheduling, planning or contract coordination would be highly beneficial, but attitude, organisation and work ethic are just as important. Site Manager (M&E Background) Barrow-in-Furness £50,000 - £55,000+ Equivalent Earnings + Overtime Site-Based Role An established and growing contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and small works projects on a long-term site-based contract in Barrow-in-Furness. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and secure contract with a strong pipeline of ongoing works within a highly regulated environment. The Role Working closely with operational teams, clients and subcontractors, you will be responsible for managing maintenance and project works from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong M&E background and be comfortable managing both directly employed labour and subcontractors within a live operational environment. We are ideally looking for an established gang of three consisting of: 1 x Working Foreman 2 x Groundworkers This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term prospects for the right team. We are only looking for gangs who have worked together in the past. About the Role Based out of the company's Prescot office, the majority of projects are located throughout the North West. However, as the business operates nationwide, applicants must be willing to travel and work away when required. The successful gang will have experience delivering a variety of groundworks and civils packages, including: Drainage Deep drainage Gullies Interceptor works Concrete works General groundworks Working Foreman Responsibilities The Working Foreman will be expected to lead the gang whilst remaining hands-on and must be capable of: Reading and interpreting drawings Planning and organising daily works Ordering materials and managing site requirements Liaising with Site Managers and Contracts Managers Driving productivity on site Managing programmes and keeping works moving forward Leading by example and maintaining high standards This role would suit a proactive and self-managing individual who takes ownership of their projects and doesn't require constant direction.
