Stock Condition & DEA Surveyor (Team Lead)

A growing property consultancy delivering stock condition surveys, energy assessments, and asset data to housing providers is looking to appoint a Surveyor Team Lead to support projects across London.

This is a hands-on role combining surveying with team support and on-site coordination. You will act as the main point of contact for surveyors, ensuring surveys are delivered accurately, consistently, and in line with project requirements.

A large part of this role will be site-based, working closely with surveyors across multiple projects. You will support them with day-to-day queries, assist with uploading accurate data onto systems, and help resolve any issues relating to validation and survey outputs. You will be working across three London boroughs, so flexibility and a presence on site are key.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support a team of surveyors across active projects
• Act as the first point of contact for surveyor queries and on-site support
• Carry out regular site visits to assist surveyors and monitor quality
• Support with uploading survey data and ensuring accuracy of information
• Assist with validation queries and workbook-related issues
• Provide guidance on processes, systems, and data capture
• Step in to complete surveys where required
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Stock Condition Surveyor with DEA accreditation (essential)
• Experience producing EPCs and understanding retrofit / energy efficiency measures
• Strong understanding of housing stock, condition surveys, and compliance standards
• Confident communicator, comfortable supporting and guiding surveyors on site
• Able to work across multiple sites and projects within London
• Organised with the ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
• Experience supporting, mentoring, or acting as a go-to person for other surveyors
