Job Title: Telehandler Operator

Overview:

Operate a telescopic handler (telehandler) to move, lift, and place materials safely on a construction site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the telehandler to lift and transport materials (e.g. bricks, pallets, equipment)
• Load and unload deliveries
• Place materials at required heights and locations
• Carry out daily safety and maintenance checks on the machine
• Follow site safety rules and instructions from supervisors
• Work with banksmen/signallers when moving loads
• Keep the machine clean and in good working condition

Requirements:

• Valid telehandler licence (e.g. CPCS or NPORS)
• Previous experience on construction sites
• Good understanding of health and safety
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions
• May involve early starts and long hours
• Requires attention to safety at all times
