Job Description
A rapidly growing building consultancy is seeking an Architectural Technologist to support the delivery of Gateway 2 applications across a portfolio of complex residential and mixed-use projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional who wants to develop specialist expertise in Building Safety and regulatory compliance. Full training and support will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone looking to move into the Gateway 2 and Building Safety space.
Working within a collaborative technical team, you will help coordinate and prepare documentation required for Gateway 2 submissions, ensuring projects meet current regulatory and safety requirements.
The Role
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of Gateway 2 applications for submission to the Building Safety Regulator
- Review and coordinate technical drawings, specifications and supporting documentation
- Work closely with architects, fire engineers, consultants and project teams to ensure compliance with building regulations and safety requirements
- Support design teams in developing compliant technical solutions
- Participate in occasional site visits to review progress and gather project information
- Maintain accurate technical records and documentation throughout the submission process
About You
- Experience working as an Architectural Technologist or in a similar technical role within the built environment
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and technical design documentation
- Good coordination and communication skills when working with multidisciplinary teams
- Interest in developing expertise in Gateway 2 submissions and Building Safety regulations
- Comfortable working remotely and managing workload independently
