Mechanical Estimator Central Belt (Office-Based)
Salary: Up to £70,000 Excellent Benefits

We are working in partnership with a major player in the M&E and engineering sector to recruit an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their growing team in the Central Belt.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected contractor with a strong pipeline of work across commercial, infrastructure, and high-profile projects.

As a Mechanical Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of mechanical building services projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for mechanical packages (HVAC, plumbing, pipework, etc.)
• Analysing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
• Identifying value engineering opportunities
• Supporting bid submissions and tender reviews
• Working closely with internal design, commercial, and project teams

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within M&E / building services
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation processes
• Experience pricing medium to large-scale projects
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficient in estimating software and Excel

• Salary up to £70,000 (depending on experience)
