Project Quantity Surveyor

This role is project based, working as part of a small team on a 8m Groundworks/Demolition scheme. They act as Sub-contractor contractor for the majority of their projects - so in this role you would have exposure to our full breadth of activities throughout a single project life-cycle. Reporting directly to a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for:

• Maximising profit through managing and challenging the efficiency of the integrated in house delivery model
• Ensuring contractual and commercial risks and opportunities are identified and managed
• Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor to develop a collaborative relationship with the client so that both parties meet their objectives.
• Working closely with the Project Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure the correct administration of the contract and ensuring that all responsibilities are fulfilled.

About You

• Able to demonstrate a good track record and reputation, performing a similar role in a related sector. (Groundworks/Demolition)
• Knowledge and experience of administering either JCT or Bespoke forms of contract
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to provide commercially focused pragmatic solutions
• Structured and organised
