Contracts Manager - Refurbishment & Fit Out

A well-established building contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality refurbishment and fit-out projects is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee projects across London and the South East.
This role will involve managing multiple refurbishment and fast-track fit-out schemes from planning through to completion. Projects typically range from smaller works to multi-million-pound programmes and often involve working in complex or occupied environments. You will be responsible for coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Working closely with the commercial team, you will monitor project performance, attend regular progress meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the delivery process. You will also oversee contract administration, manage project teams and ensure smooth project handovers upon completion.
We are looking for someone with a strong building refurbishment background, ideally with hands-on experience delivering Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects. Candidates should have around 10 years experience managing construction contracts, with strong organisational skills, commercial awareness and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
A qualification in Building Studies or Construction Management would be advantageous, along with relevant health and safety training such as IOSH or CSCS.
