What You'll Do:
- Lead Maintenance Activities: Take charge of both planned and reactive maintenance to ensure maximum uptime and equipment reliability.
- Diagnose & Repair: Use your skills to troubleshoot, repair, and adjust machinery, while also coordinating with specialist contractors and service providers when necessary.
- Manage Records: Keep meticulous maintenance logs, service records, and asset registers to track and improve performance.
- Drive Preventative Strategies: Implement proactive maintenance strategies designed to enhance performance and extend the life of our equipment.
- Ensure Compliance: Guarantee that all machinery and facilities are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose at all times.
- Support Health & Safety: Champion site Health & Safety compliance, including LOLER inspections, training records, and housekeeping audits.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement practical initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and workflow.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work alongside production and support teams to embed best-in-class working practices and documentation.
About You:
We're looking for a motivated engineer or facilities professional who is:
- Experienced: Strong mechanical, electrical, or facilities experience in a production environment.
