Are your a temporary works design engineer who has been signed off CRE-D?


Have you worked on major rail infrastructure projects?


Location: Fully Remote (UK)
Contract Length: 12 months minimum
Rate: £500 - £600 per day (Inside IR35)
Start Date: Immediate


The Role: We are seeking a self-sufficient Senior Temporary Works Designer to check and approve designs across major rail and infrastructure projects. You will be expected to hit the ground running on high-profile schemes such as the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU), Piccadilly Line Upgrades, and Sizewell C.

Key Responsibilities:
Checking and approving temporary works designs.
Overseeing a wide range of temporary works including scaffolding, edge protection, and crane pad assessments.
Working autonomously on design briefs.

Essential Requirements:

Significant temporary works experience in the rail sector.
Must be an existing CRE (Contractor's Responsible Engineer) or be a Chartered Engineer with extensive rail experience who can be quickly nominated.
